Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr is set to host the highly anticipated Paris Jewels auction, boasting a stunning collection of 160 pieces from renowned jewelry houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, and Chaumet.
Scheduled for April 25, the auction will spotlight a dazzling array of treasures, with one standout piece being a Cartier Panthère brooch crafted in 1968. Adorned with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, onyx, emerald, and coral, this masterpiece is estimated to fetch between EUR 90,000 to EUR 120,000 ($97,749 to $130,346), according to Bonhams.
Marine Girardet, head of jewelry for Bonhams France, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “Paris Jewels features a delightful selection of gem-set animal jewelry from leading maisons in an array of designs from birds, dogs, cats, to ladybirds.
