Elizabeth Banks is marking her 20th wedding anniversary with a special new ring. The 49-year-old actress shared the milestone on Instagram Wednesday, celebrating her two decades of marriage to Max Handelman, whom she wed in 2003.
Banks showcased a stunning piece of jewelry in her Instagram Story: a peacock sapphire stone encircled by small diamonds on a diamond band. She captioned the photo, “The 20th anniversary ring.”
To further commemorate the occasion, the “Pitch Perfect” star posted two black-and-white photos from her wedding day. In the first post, Banks is seen smiling while holding Handelman’s hand. The second post features a current image of the couple.
“20. Years. Married. Made a life together. Made a business. Made a family. Still mad for each other. We’re doing alright @maxhandelman,” she wrote, expressing her love and appreciation for her husband.
