Eugenie Niarchos draws inspiration from her passion for Paris and global travel to create stunning jewelry pieces featuring each country’s flag in vibrant enamel and 18-karat gold.
Adding to this patriotic collection is a French-themed charm bracelet paying homage to Paris, the host city of the Olympics. The bracelet includes charming motifs like a gold croissant adorned with diamonds, a glass of red wine, a vintage Metropolitan sign, the French cockade, a champagne bottle, and an artist’s palette.
In 2013, Eugenie founded Venyx with the vision of crafting a brand that embodies freedom, time travel, and boundless creativity. “I wanted to build a brand that represents its own universe. I named it Venyx World,” she explains. “Venyx combines Venus – the planet – and onyx – the stone. The name is mysterious and sparks curiosity. This imaginary world serves as the backdrop for my designs.”
Eugenie’s creations blend futuristic and vintage styles, influenced by her diverse background. Her journey includes collaborations with Repossi and Vanessa Seward, studying fine jewelry design and diamonds at the Gemological Institute of America, and working at Christie’s fine jewelry department in New York. Her collections draw inspiration from sources like Man Ray’s surrealism, cosmic phenomena, Greek mythology, and reptile patterns, often featuring vivid gems such as opals, rainbow sapphires, malachite, and emeralds.
The Charms collection inspired by Paris, available from Venyx and La Galerie du Ritz, serves as a cherished keepsake of the 2024 Olympics. These charms, crafted in luxurious gold with diamonds and colorful gems, offer a distinctive and timeless way to celebrate this global event.
