The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones, known as DANAT, recently organized a five-day training course focused on pearls and gemstones at the Kooheji Training Hall in Youth City.
The event attracted a diverse group of young enthusiasts interested in pearls, gemstones, and jewelry. Participants engaged in both theoretical lessons and practical exercises covering pearls, diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires.
The primary objective of the course was to educate young participants about Bahrain’s esteemed pearl industry, provide foundational knowledge about pearls and major gemstones, and offer essential insights into jewelry purchasing.
Attendees also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced tools used for studying and analyzing gemstones.
Noora Jamsheer, CEO of DANAT, emphasized that the course aims to equip aspiring professionals with practical skills and industry experience necessary for competitive entry into the pearl and gemstone sectors. The program offers a comprehensive study of pearls and various gemological sciences, enabling participants to develop a deep understanding of the field and become proficient in using essential tools and devices.
