Sotheby’s will spotlight two rare colored diamond pieces at its upcoming Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva, with each piece estimated to fetch up to CHF 1.8 million ($2.1 million).
The first featured item is a 1.44-carat, fancy-red diamond ring with an I2 clarity grade, cut in a rectangular mixed style with cut corners. The second is a 16.73-carat, very-light-pink diamond pendant, graded VVS1 for clarity and cut in a brilliant style. Both jewels will be auctioned on November 13, Sotheby’s announced last week.
The sale will also showcase a selection of 19th-century archaeological revival jewelry crafted by renowned makers such as Castellani, Carlo Giuliano, and Wièse. Pieces from prestigious brands, including Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co., Harry Winston, and JAR, will also be available at the event.
