Bernie Robbins Jewelers is kicking off the holiday season with a special “12 Days of Giving” campaign to express gratitude to its customers and the community. The event, running from Monday, Dec. 9, through Friday, Dec. 20, at the company’s Newtown, Pa., and Somers Point, N.J., locations, will offer shoppers the chance to win exclusive designer jewelry and a variety of prizes. No purchase is necessary to enter, simply completing a form via a QR code at the store will qualify participants.
This year’s campaign marks a milestone in the store’s history, following its transition of ownership from the legendary founder Bernie Rovinsky to a team of dedicated employees. The new owners—Stephen Berman, Gennifer Flaxman, Steve Jaffe, Andy Lazar, and Sandra Moran—took over the business a year ago, continuing the legacy that Rovinsky built over six decades.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Rovinskys for entrusting us with the ownership of Bernie Robbins Jewelers, and we want to show our appreciation to our customers and community,” said Gennifer Flaxman, one of the new owners. “This giveaway, along with our support for Helpusadopt.org, reflects our deep values of family and community. We are honored to carry on the tradition that Bernie’s family started.”
The 12 Days of Giving will feature a wide selection of high-end jewelry from renowned brands including Roberto Coin, Marco Bicego, Penny Preville, Frederique Constant, Uneek, Wolf 1834, Shy Creation, and Sorellina. Prizes include a Penny Preville diamond necklace valued at $3,500, a Frederique Constant diamond watch worth $1,195, Marco Bicego earrings valued at $2,450, and a Roberto Coin Venetian Princess Necklace worth $2,040, along with a travel package, children’s package, and more.
Winners will be selected at random each evening, and anyone who doesn’t win on a given day will automatically be entered into subsequent drawings.
In addition to the giveaway, Bernie Robbins Jewelers will donate a percentage of sales to Helpusadopt.org, a national nonprofit that provides financial grants to families adopting children. The organization awards grants of up to $30,000, helping reduce the financial burden of adoption for couples and individuals from all backgrounds. The cause holds special meaning for the new owners: Andy Lazar was adopted and later adopted his own son, Mark, while Gennifer Flaxman and her husband adopted their son Spencer through Helpusadopt.
Flaxman, who previously served on the board of the nonprofit, shared, “It’s been an honor to select families who receive these grants. Every adoption story is touching, and knowing we can make a difference through this campaign is incredibly meaningful to us.”
The “12 Days of Giving” is not just a celebration of the season, but also a way for the new ownership to thank the community for their support during the transition.
“We’re so thankful for the community’s warm welcome and support during our first year,” said Sandra Moran. “The ‘12 Days of Giving’ is our way of expressing our heartfelt thanks and supporting Helpusadopt.org, a cause that means so much to all of us.”
Bernie Robbins Jewelers is now open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The flagship store is located at 507 New Road, Somers Point, N.J. 08244, and their Bucks County location is at 200 North Sycamore Street, Newtown, Pa. 18940.
