Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is set to open a jewelry store in Moscow, featuring luxury rings, necklaces, and other items crafted from Yakut diamonds. The news was reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
The store will be managed by Depp’s 28-year-old partner, Yulia Vlasova, who has a background in beauty business ventures. According to sources, Depp initially invested at least $500,000 into the business. Vlasova, who studied at the University of Prague, previously opened and later sold a beauty business in the Czech capital. She reportedly persuaded Depp to enter the Russian market, citing its higher profitability compared to Europe.
Additionally, the Telegram channel claims Vlasova is pursuing further education in business, having enrolled in a specialized course at Moscow State University. The boutique will begin operations online, with a physical store expected to open in 2025.
Earlier this year, Vlasova and Depp were spotted together in London, with the two sharing a hug on a helipad. Vlasova, originally from Polevskoy in the Sverdlovsk region, has lived in Prague, where she owns a makeup and hair studio. A graduate of MGIMO, she worked for a Czech company before entering the beauty industry. In 2021, she was a finalist in the Miss Office competition in Moscow.
Though Vlasova had previously posted photos with Depp on social media, she had not publicly confirmed their relationship until October 2024. The two met three years ago at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, and Vlasova later confirmed their romantic involvement. While she has since deleted some posts and kept details of their relationship private, she referred to Depp as her “favorite actor” in a social media exchange, calling him “an incredibly talented and inspiring person.”
The launch of Depp’s jewelry store marks a new venture into the luxury market for the actor, alongside his growing personal and professional ties to Russia.
