Swarovski has launched its latest Lunar New Year collection, honoring the Year of the Snake and kicking off its 130th-anniversary celebrations under the theme “130 Years of Joy.” The collection blends traditional symbolism with modern design, showcasing the brand’s signature craftsmanship and creativity.
The Iconic Swan Takes Center Stage
The Swarovski Swan, a timeless symbol of the brand, has been reimagined for this special occasion. The new design features two swans with their necks intertwined to form a heart shape, symbolizing love and unity. This motif appears in various pieces, including a gold-tone pendant that pairs a gold swan with a rhodium-plated swan, both embellished with sparkling Swarovski Zirconia. Another highlight is a chain-link bracelet adorned with Swarovski Crystal Pearls and swan charms decorated with contrasting black and white Zirconia stones.
Celebrating the Year of the Snake
Inspired by the snake’s symbolism of renewal, vitality, and transformation, Swarovski introduces a range of jewelry pieces that capture the serpent’s dynamic motion. The designs feature coiled and twisting forms, with standout items including gold-tone pendants, bracelets, and earrings. A key piece is a gold-tone pendant depicting a coiled snake encrusted with Swarovski Zirconia, encircling a single Swarovski Crystal Pearl. Red accents, a traditional Lunar New Year color, are woven throughout the collection to evoke luck and prosperity.
Expanding into Home Decor
Beyond jewelry, the collection also includes festive home decor items. Among the highlights is the God of Wealth figurine, meticulously crafted with 687 precision-cut facets and adorned with gold ingots and coins. The Lucky Cat figurine, featuring 481 facets and a vibrant red collar, adds a playful touch. The green Snake figurine, with 398 precision-cut facets, combines traditional elements with whimsical details, such as a red metal tongue and symbolic embellishments.
This Lunar New Year collection reflects Swarovski’s commitment to blending heritage with innovation, offering pieces that celebrate both cultural traditions and modern elegance.
