7th February 2025 – (Hong Kong) A robbery at a jewelry shop on San Fung Avenue in Sheung Shui last month resulted in the theft of valuables worth around HK$1.5 million. The incident took place on the evening of 15th January when four masked men, armed with knives and hammers, stormed the shop and made off with the goods.
On 5th February, police arrested a Pakistani man in Mong Kok in connection with the heist. He was charged with one count of robbery and appeared in Fanling Magistrates’ Court on 7th February. Another Pakistani man had been arrested earlier in connection with the crime, bringing the total number of suspects detained to two.
