Bonhams will host its Paris jewelry auction on April 24 at the Cornette de Saint Cyr showroom. The sale will feature a range of high-end items, including a collection of Chaumet pieces from a single owner, as well as diamond and colored gemstone jewelry from renowned brands such as Cartier, Boucheron, Buccellati, Graff, and Van Cleef & Arpels.
According to Marine Girardet, Bonhams’ Head of Jewelry in France, “The Paris Jewels sale offers a selection of exquisite Chaumet jewels, including an extraordinary Art Deco diamond and ruby bracelet, as well as a 1970s-style malachite and lapis lazuli design.” She also highlighted other notable items in the sale, such as a pair of Graff colored diamond earrings and a striking 21.03-carat sapphire ring.
Among the featured pieces is a Chaumet Art Deco bracelet, crafted with 18k white gold, geometric links, single-cut diamonds, and baguette-cut rubies. The estimated price for this item is between $11,000 and $16,000.
Ahead of the auction, Bonhams will host a pre-sale lecture on April 14. The talk will be led by Violaine Bigot, Head of Vintage Jewelry at Chaumet, and will focus on the brand’s designs from the 1950s to the 1970s.
