Fura Gems, the prominent gemstone mining company, has recently struck a partnership with China Stone, a leading Chinese gemstone manufacturer. Under this collaboration, Fura Gems will provide China Stone with access to a premium selection of rough rubies sourced from Montepuez, Mozambique, for an initial three-year period.
This partnership marks a significant development in the colored gemstone mining industry, ensuring China Stone a reliable source of origin-certified rough rubies spanning from 0.25 carats to 0.75 carats. This arrangement will facilitate more effective production planning and forecasting for watch and jewelry manufacturers, as well as retailers.
