Sotheby’s New York is set to host a remarkable auction featuring 223 exquisite jewelry lots, sourced from a secretive single collector, encompassing renowned brands like Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, David Webb, Bulgari, and Harry Winston.
Titled “From the Vault Exceptional Signed Jewels,” the live event is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, March 7th, with the collector opting to remain anonymous.
A standout highlight of the auction is an exquisite Asprey fancy vivid yellow diamond necklace and earrings set, estimated to fetch between $2 million to $3 million. The ensemble boasts a total weight of 55.26 carats, with the largest stone weighing in at 3.40 carats.
Many of the pieces on offer prominently feature iconic motifs from luxury jewelers, such as Bulgari’s Serpenti or Cartier’s Panthère.
The auction boasts an impressive array of pieces, including 81 items from Van Cleef & Arpels, 43 from Cartier, and 21 each from David Webb and Bulgari.
