Luxury conglomerate Richemont has named Catherine Rénier as the new CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, succeeding Nicolas Bos. Rénier, who has over 20 years of experience in jewelry and luxury watchmaking within the group, will assume her new role starting September 1st.

She first joined Richemont in 1999 as director of retail development for Cartier in North America, later serving as deputy manager for Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris. In 2008, Rénier relocated to Hong Kong to oversee the brand’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, initially as commercial director and subsequently as managing director for Hong Kong and Macau. Her leadership continued to flourish as she took on the role of president for Asia Pacific in 2011, a position she held for eight years before becoming CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2018.
