Sotheby’s will feature an 8-carat diamond ring in its Important Jewels sale, scheduled for September 20 in New York. The cushion-cut, D-color, internally flawless diamond is expected to fetch up to $350,000.
The auction will also showcase an unmounted 18.91-carat Colombian emerald, estimated at $350,000. A pair of Van Cleef & Arpels ear clips, featuring diamond clusters and detachable “mystery-set” ruby pendants, has a high estimate of $300,000. Additionally, a 10.59-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, with H-color and VVS2 clarity, is projected to sell for up to $300,000. A Bulgari ring featuring a 14.22-carat pear-shaped Ceylon sapphire surrounded by emeralds and diamonds is estimated at $250,000.
Other highlights include a heart-shaped 16.24-carat fancy-yellow diamond ring, expected to reach $180,000, and a round 5.05-carat F-color diamond ring with baguette diamonds, also estimated at $180,000. The sale will feature additional pieces from renowned designers like Tiffany & Co., Mauboussin, and Cartier.
