Diamonds are set to lead the upcoming John Moran Jewelry & Watches sale, with four of the top five lots featuring the precious stones, including a standout yellow diamond expected to fetch up to $70,000.
The centerpiece of the September 17 auction will be an 11.78-carat, radiant-cut fancy light yellow diamond ring. The diamond, graded SI1 for clarity, is flanked by two trillion-cut diamonds weighing 0.50 carats each, making it the highlight of the California-based auction house’s Autumn sale. In addition to diamonds, the auction will showcase pieces from iconic brands such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., and Bulgari.
Another notable piece is a bracelet with a geometric design, set with round, old-European-cut, and rectangular step-cut diamonds totaling approximately 28.11 carats. This bracelet is expected to sell for up to $50,000. Also estimated at $50,000 is a ring featuring a 6.26-carat, pear-shaped diamond, graded J-color and SI2-clarity.
Additional highlights include a set by M. Gerard, which includes a necklace and two bracelets in an infinity-link design crafted from textured gold and adorned with sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and diamonds. The set carries a high estimate of $50,000.
Rounding out the top lots is a 5.01-carat, emerald-cut diamond ring, graded I-color and VVS2-clarity, with two tapered baguette-cut diamonds flanking the center stone. This piece is expected to bring in up to $45,000.
The auction promises to offer a range of luxury items, with diamonds taking center stage.
