$6 Million Jadeite Necklace to Headline Sotheby’s Hong Kong Auction

A jadeite necklace will be the highlight of Sotheby’s upcoming jewelry auction in Hong Kong, expected to sell for up to HKD 50 million ($6.4 million).

The necklace features 108 jadeite beads and a clasp adorned with a cabochon ruby and brilliant-cut diamonds. It will be the main attraction at the Magnificent Jewels I auction on October 2. The sale will also showcase colored diamonds, gemstones, and pieces from renowned designers like Harry Winston, JAR, Bulgari, and Van Cleef & Arpels.

In addition, an online auction titled Magnificent Jewels II will run concurrently, from September 30 to October 8.
