Phillips will present a 3.24-carat fancy-vivid-blue diamond ring at its upcoming Geneva auction, with an estimated value of up to $6 million. The auction, titled The Geneva Jewels Auction: THREE, will take place at the Hotel President on November 11.
This event follows Phillips’ recent sales in Geneva, including one held in May. The November auction will feature pieces from renowned jewelers such as Cartier, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Buccellati, Phillips announced last week.
Benoît Repellin, Phillips’ worldwide head of jewelry, said the auction follows the success of their recent Hong Kong sale, which saw an impressive 89% increase in year-on-year sales. He also noted that the Geneva sale will include rare natural sapphires, rubies, and unenhanced emeralds. Phillips is especially excited to showcase a rare red diamond and high-quality emeralds, building on their record-breaking results for these types of stones.
