A platinum ring with a 21.37-carat Asscher-cut diamond will headline Doyle’s upcoming Important Jewelry auction, set to take place on October 30. The ring, featuring an H-color, VS2-clarity center stone flanked by two baguette diamonds, has an estimated value ranging from $350,000 to $550,000.
This piece is one of three platinum diamond rings among the top lots. The second ring showcases a 9.83-carat emerald step-cut diamond, with an estimated price of $125,000 to $175,000. The third ring features a 5.13-carat emerald-cut diamond, expected to sell for $80,000 to $120,000.
The auction will also present three gold, diamond, and ruby pendant clip-brooches by renowned designer René Boivin, which once belonged to New York socialite Babe Paley. These pieces, which can be worn as necklaces with suede straps, are estimated to fetch between $120,000 and $180,000.
Additionally, the auction will feature an impressive selection of jewelry from famous houses such as Bulgari, Cartier, and Van Cleef & Arpels, ranging from antique to modern designs.
Before the auction, the items will be displayed at Doyle’s regional locations in Boston, Beverly Hills, and Palm Beach, Florida. The New York preview will take place from October 26 to 28.
