Christie’s: Blue Diamond Expected to Sell for More Than $10 Million

A 5.02-carat blue diamond ring, valued at up to $10.3 million, will headline Christie’s Magnificent Jewels auction in Hong Kong on October 29, reports Diamond World.

Crafted around 1923, the ring features a flawless fancy deep blue marquise-cut diamond, certified by the GIA. Another standout piece is a pair of fancy vivid orange-yellow diamond earrings, called the Oriental Sunrise, weighing 12.20 and 11.96 carats. These earrings are also expected to fetch up to $10.3 million.

The auction will showcase a total of 124 items.
