These two gemstones headline The Geneva Jewels Auction: Three, scheduled for November 11. Additional key pieces include a 40.54-carat old European-cut fancy intense yellow diamond (VS1 clarity), estimated between $980,000 and $1.5 million; a 14.65-carat Colombian emerald, set in a vintage Cartier mount from the 1920s, estimated at $900,000 to $1.2 million; and a 1.21-carat fancy red diamond, with an estimate ranging from $500,000 to $800,000.
Full details of the lots will be available in the online catalog, launching on October 21.
Among the historical offerings is a 19th-century spinel and diamond necklace, thought to have been a gift from King George IV to his mistress, Elizabeth Conyngham, in the early 1800s.
The previous Geneva Jewels Auction: Two, held in May, raised over $26 million.
