Fabergé has unveiled new pieces to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic James Bond film, Goldfinger (1964). Among the highlights is the Fabergé x 007 Goldfinger Egg Safe Locket with Ruby Heart Surprise. This locket, inspired by Fort Knox—the film’s key setting—is made of 18k yellow gold. When opened, it reveals a heart-shaped ruby from Gemfields Mozambique, symbolizing Goldfinger’s obsession with wealth. The pendant’s bail resembles the letter ‘G’ in the same style as the character’s signet ring, marking Fabergé’s first egg locket of this design.
Also introduced is the Fabergé x 007 Octopussy Ring, crafted from brushed 18k yellow gold. The ring features an octopus design adorned with 48 brilliant-cut diamonds, representing its suckers. A hidden ruby from Gemfields Mozambique is nestled in the band, known only to the wearer. This piece pays tribute to the film Octopussy, blending Fabergé’s flair for surprises with Bond’s mysterious allure.
These pieces are available for pre-order today, following the earlier successful launches of the Octopussy Egg Surprise Locket and the Limited-Edition Octopussy Egg Objet in March.
Fabergé’s Creative Director, Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, remarked, “These new additions to our Fabergé x 007 partnership celebrate iconic symbols from the Bond universe, crafted in our signature style.”
Liisa Tallgren, Head of Design at Fabergé, noted, “The worlds of Bond and Fabergé converge in their shared appreciation for beauty and culture, creating a perfect collection that honors both our heritage and Bond storytelling.”
The new Fabergé x 007 items are available at select boutiques in Dubai, Macau, and London’s Burlington Arcade, as well as online at Faberge.com and 007Store.com.
