Jennifer Mulvihill, an attorney and cybersecurity expert, will become the new president of the Jewelers’ Security Alliance (JSA). She succeeds John Kennedy, who is retiring after 33 years in the role.
Mulvihill will be the first woman to lead the JSA in its 141-year history. She previously worked as a senior director at Kroll, a corporate-investigation firm. Her background includes significant experience in cybersecurity, nonprofit organizations, insurance, corporate consulting, and education.
“JSA has a remarkable crime team, and Jennifer has the talent and experience to enhance our effectiveness and explore new directions as the jewelry industry confronts increasing high-tech crime,” said JSA chairman Alan Zimmer.
The JSA Board also announced that Scott Guginsky, the current vice president, has been promoted to executive vice president after 12 years in his position.
“Guginsky’s contributions have been key to JSA’s growth and success,” added Zimmer. “With this new leadership team, we are confident that JSA has a bright future.”
