A 43.15-carat yellow diamond ring will headline Phillips’ upcoming jewelry auction, with an estimated value of up to $850,000. The ring features an Old European brilliant-cut, fancy-yellow diamond of VS2 clarity, surrounded by additional brilliant-cut diamonds.
This piece is part of nearly 150 items set to be offered at Phillips’ New York Jewels sale on December 13. The auction will showcase remarkable pieces from renowned designers, including René Boivin, Suzanne Belperron, and Jean Schlumberger.
Cristina Rodrigo, a jewelry specialist and head of the sale, expressed excitement about the range of offerings, noting a rising demand for antique-cut diamonds. “Our top lot is a striking example of this trend,” she added.
