The Punahou Carnival Art Gallery has kicked off its highly anticipated annual online jewelry sale, marking the start of the broader Punahou Carnival celebrations. Running until 8 p.m. on January 22, the sale offers over 1,000 unique, handcrafted pieces by more than 20 local designers. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Punahou School’s financial aid program.
Susan King, Co-Chair of the Jewelry Committee, shared, “The online jewelry sale is a beloved tradition that not only showcases local talent but also supports the community and education. With a wide range of prices, there’s something for everyone—whether for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, graduation, or just because.”
Among the artists contributing this year is local designer Kirsten Merrill. Her pieces draw inspiration from the lively atmosphere of the carnival, with names and themes that reflect the event’s spirit. “This year’s collection includes charm necklaces, herkimer diamond earrings, and exclusive items like the Buff n’ Blue necklace, a hand-knotted emerald necklace with a Tahitian pearl,” Merrill said. “It’s rewarding to support students while celebrating creativity.”
The jewelry sale is hosted on the Art Gallery’s website, allowing buyers to access exclusive designs while making a difference. Whether you’re searching for a statement necklace, trendy earrings, or timeless classics, this sale offers a range of options for jewelry lovers and helps fund an important educational cause.
