Paris-based jewelry house Messika has announced the appointment of Edouard Schneider as its new Chief Brand Officer. In this role, Schneider will oversee the brand’s communication and image strategies, including public relations, celebrity collaborations, events, social media, and visual merchandising.
With over two decades of experience in the luxury fashion industry, Schneider brings a wealth of expertise to Messika. He most recently served as Global Communications Director for Acne Studios, the renowned Swedish fashion label, where he worked for six years. Before that, he held key positions at Louis Vuitton as Global Public and Press Relations Director and at Maison Margiela as Chief Communications Officer.
Valérie Messika, the brand’s founder and creative director, expressed confidence in Schneider’s appointment. In a statement, she highlighted his extensive background, noting that his experience will be instrumental as Messika continues to grow its global presence.
Messika, known for its innovative and modern jewelry designs, currently operates in major international markets, including New York City, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Dubai. The appointment of Schneider signals the brand’s commitment to strengthening its global brand identity and expanding its reach in the competitive luxury sector.
This strategic hire comes as Messika aims to further solidify its position as a leading name in the jewelry industry, leveraging Schneider’s proven track record in building and elevating luxury brands.
