The Kentucky State Police (KSP) have charged two individuals from Albany in connection with a stolen jewelry investigation in Clinton County. The alleged theft involved custom-made jewelry valued at over $16,000.
The investigation began on Thursday after troopers were alerted that jewelry had been stolen from a residence in Clinton County. According to a KSP news release, authorities recovered several pieces of the stolen jewelry during the investigation.
While on the scene, law enforcement gathered information that led to the arrest of 41-year-old Virginia Conner. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking of property valued at over $10,000.
Additionally, 42-year-old Christopher Conner was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property worth over $10,000, as well as resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Both individuals were taken to the Clinton County Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
