L’ÉCOLE Middle East, the School of Jewelry Arts backed by Van Cleef & Arpels, has announced the launch of its first-ever L’ÉCOLE Festival. The event will take place on February 14-15 at the Dubai Design District (d3), a leading creative hub under TECOM Group PJSC. The festival aims to celebrate the art of jewelry and secure a permanent spot on Dubai’s annual cultural calendar.
The festival will feature a series of interactive outdoor experiences, highlighting L’ÉCOLE’s three core areas of expertise: Art History, Savoir-Faire (craftsmanship), and Gemology. The event underscores the school’s mission to promote creativity, education, and the preservation of jewelry arts in the UAE and beyond.
Sophie Claudel, Director of L’ÉCOLE Middle East, expressed her enthusiasm for the festival: “L’ÉCOLE Festival is a true reflection of our values – sharing knowledge, inspiring creativity, and building connections. By opening our doors to the public in such a vibrant way, we hope to engage families, students, and jewelry lovers, creating memorable experiences and igniting new passions for the art of jewelry.”
Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3, part of TECOM Group, emphasized the importance of the event: “The future of design relies on platforms that encourage dialogue, awareness, and engagement to drive sustainable growth and innovation. Since joining d3, L’ÉCOLE has consistently delivered innovative exhibitions and events. This festival is another opportunity for individuals to explore the rich legacy of jewelry craftsmanship and appreciate the intricate world of design within the creative industries.”
The L’ÉCOLE Festival promises to be a landmark event for jewelry enthusiasts and the broader community, offering a unique blend of education, artistry, and cultural celebration.
