Marika Emerson, a seasoned seller of vintage and antique fine jewelry, is expanding her business with the opening of her first showroom in Rocky River. The new store, Marika Gems, will be located in Old Downtown Rocky River, in the same brick building as Tartine restaurant and Chicologie, a luxury vintage goods showroom.
The grand opening event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, through Saturday, March 1. Guests can enjoy sparkling wine and light snacks during the event.
Emerson’s collection includes 150 pieces, offering a range of jewelry styles from everyday wear to more elaborate engagement and wedding rings. The collection spans various design eras, including Georgian, Victorian, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Modernist, and Retro.
“I believe each jewelry era has its own beauty and unique appeal,” Emerson said. “My goal is to provide a wide variety of styles for every taste.”
A certified gemologist, jewelry appraiser, and metalsmith, Emerson also offers by-appointment appraisals, brokerage services, and custom jewelry design.
