The 41st Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will open on Tuesday, March 4, featuring the latest trends in affordable luxury jewelry, men’s and unisex designs, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge jewelry technology. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the event will host a diverse range of exhibitors and innovations.
One of the highlights of this year’s show is the introduction of a dedicated Gold Jewellery Zone, which will display uniquely designed and intricately crafted gold pieces. The HKTDC emphasized that affordable luxury jewelry is gaining popularity, catering to consumers seeking high-quality yet budget-friendly options. Additionally, the growing market for men’s and unisex jewelry will be well-represented, with nearly 200 exhibitors showcasing related products.
Technology will also take center stage at the exhibition. Local exhibitors will debut an aerobic ultra-fast 3D printer, while an Italian company will present advanced equipment capable of creating 360-degree animations. These innovations aim to help jewelry businesses capitalize on e-commerce opportunities and enhance their digital presence.
Sustainability is another key focus of this year’s event. Several exhibitors will showcase jewelry made from recycled metals, reducing the need for raw materials. Environmentally friendly technologies and production processes will also be highlighted, reflecting the industry’s shift toward greener practices.
A seminar during the show will explore how Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications can support the jewelry industry’s sustainable development goals.
The exhibition will continue to adopt a hybrid format, combining in-person and online experiences. Onsite buyers can scan QR codes at exhibitor booths to connect with sellers on AI-powered matching platforms, enabling seamless discussions during and after the event.
This year’s Hong Kong International Jewellery Show promises to be a dynamic platform for industry players to explore emerging trends, embrace sustainability, and leverage technology for future growth.
