Pandora has introduced a new jewellery piece in support of Unicef, unveiling a special-edition heart-shaped silver charm featuring a blue center stone, the signature color of Unicef.
The launch underscores Pandora’s ongoing collaboration with Unicef, which has raised nearly $14 million over the past five years to aid children and young people worldwide.
“Education is a fundamental human right, and every child deserves the opportunity to improve their lives through learning,” said Susanne Dahl, executive director of Unicef Denmark. “This Pandora for Unicef charm symbolizes the dedication behind our partnership, which helps provide quality education to young people, particularly girls.”
Pandora’s chief marketing officer, Berta de Pablos-Barbier, emphasized the importance of investing in children’s education. “Children are the foundation of the future. When education is prioritized, it leads to lasting societal change,” she said. “Supporting girls’ education, in particular, can transform communities and nations, empowering young women to earn better incomes, make crucial decisions, and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.”
The Pandora for Unicef partnership aims to empower children and young people globally, with a strong focus on girls, through education programs designed to equip them with essential skills.
Pandora is working closely with Unicef to provide young people with training in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), digital literacy, and life skills necessary for career success.
Educational initiatives in Thailand, Vietnam, and China are a key part of this collaboration, promoting inclusive learning opportunities that prepare adolescents for the workforce.
Half of Pandora’s contributions go directly toward funding these education programs, while the remaining half provides Unicef with flexible financial support to address urgent needs and emerging global priorities.
The ongoing partnership between Pandora and Unicef continues to create meaningful change, reinforcing the importance of education in shaping a better future for children around the world.
