An Okanagan-based jewellery company recently took part in one of the world’s most prestigious fashion events.
Truvai Jewellery, known for its commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability, was featured at Paris Fashion Week, which concluded earlier this week in the French capital.
Founded by Jenny Lillian, Truvai blends artistry with responsible practices. While all designs originate in the Okanagan, the pieces are crafted by skilled artisans in Afghanistan, Kenya, Indonesia, and Uganda.
At Paris Fashion Week, the company showcased its latest collection, which included handcrafted jewellery made from recycled paper beads. These unique pieces were created by a women’s group in a small Ugandan village.
Truvai Jewellery is available at Ad Hoc in Penticton and Morgane in Kelowna.
