Christie’s has opened its latest Jewels Online Auction, with bidding set to close on April 2. The auction features nearly 200 exclusive lots, including a variety of diamonds, vibrant colored gemstones, and exceptional designs from world-renowned jewelry houses such as Bulgari, Cartier, David Webb, and Van Cleef & Arpels.
The highlight of the auction is an 18.72-carat light brownish-pink diamond ring, set with round diamonds. This rare piece, estimated to fetch between $300,000 and $500,000, was previously sold at a Christie’s New York auction in December 2021.
Other notable items include a stunning 8.85-carat Raymond Jade sapphire and diamond necklace, expected to sell for $50,000 to $70,000, as well as an 18.37-carat emerald and diamond ring, with an estimated value of up to $150,000.
The auction also offers a significant collection of jewelry from the 1960s and 1970s, with 51 lots from well-known family estates. Among these are a David Webb enamel, emerald, and diamond lion bracelet, estimated at $30,000 to $50,000, and a Van Cleef & Arpels chrysoprase and diamond necklace, expected to fetch $20,000 to $30,000.
Additionally, the sale includes 15 antique and contemporary pieces, with all proceeds benefiting the PBS Foundation.
