Jewelers of America (JA) will host a webinar on Monday, April 7, to provide the latest updates on tariffs affecting the jewelry industry. The event will begin at 3 p.m. Eastern Time.
This webinar comes ahead of President Trump’s anticipated announcement of a new tariff plan, scheduled for today at 4 p.m. in the White House Rose Garden.
JA has been closely monitoring the Trump administration’s tariff actions and how they impact both the jewelry sector and consumers.
The webinar will include a live Q&A session with Jon Gold, Vice President of Supply Chain and Customs Policy at the National Retail Federation. Gold advocates for the retail industry before Congress and the Trump administration on issues related to international trade, product safety, and customs.
Susan Posnock, Director of Public Affairs and Education at Jewelers of America, will moderate the session.
To register for the webinar and submit a question for the speaker, attendees can use the registration page. Additionally, JA members can visit the organization’s Legislative Action Center to send messages to the administration about how tariffs are affecting their businesses.
