This spring, luxury jewelry brand Boucheron is unveiling an exciting new chapter in its iconic Serpent Bohème collection. Known for its elegant, understated designs featuring a drop-shaped snake head motif, the collection is inspired by a piece Frédéric Boucheron created in 1888 for his wife. The original snake jewel symbolized love and security while he was away for work.
While the Serpent Bohème collection has remained refined and delicate over the years, Boucheron is now adding a bolder touch. Introducing Serpent Bohème Vintage, the new line brings a vintage aesthetic to the collection with stronger, more substantial designs.
Chunky chain necklaces, bracelets, and earrings are now adorned with the signature snakeskin gold texture. These pieces feature intricate pavé double-drop motifs and beaded gold links. The collection also introduces rings where the snake head motif is transformed into floral arrangements, complete with three-dimensional, pavé diamond centers.
A standout piece in the new collection is a dramatic cuff crafted from brushed, satin-finished gold, beautifully set with diamonds. This bold new direction for Serpent Bohème blends heritage with modern style, making a striking statement.
