A jewelry store in downtown Los Angeles suffered a major loss on Monday after burglars broke in and stole items worth millions of dollars.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the break-in happened shortly before 10 a.m. Officers responded to the incident on the 500 block of Broadway, where they learned that unknown suspects had entered the store and taken property.
An employee at the store told KTLA that the stolen jewelry was worth millions. However, police have not yet confirmed the total value of the stolen goods.
The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been identified so far.
