Laguna Beach-based jewelry brand Gorjana will celebrate a major milestone this week. The company is opening its 100th retail location at Scottsdale Fashion Square on Friday, according to a press release.
Known for its simple and stylish designs that are easy to layer, Gorjana will open on Level 1 of the mall. The new store will sit between Balenciaga and the Gucci Men’s Store.
To mark the grand opening, the brand will offer several promotions for customers. Shoppers will receive free gift add-ons with every purchase. While the press release did not list the exact items, it referred to them as “special gifts.”
Customers will also have the chance to enjoy one-on-one styling sessions during their visit. These personalized sessions are meant to help customers explore the store’s latest offerings.
Gorjana’s jewelry line includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings. Most of the pieces are made from gold, though the brand also uses other materials such as opals and sapphires.
The company recently became the official jewelry partner of the U.S. Women’s National Team Players Association (USWNT Players), further boosting its national profile.
Scottsdale Holds Personal Significance for Gorjana
The 100th store holds special meaning beyond the number. Gorjana Reidel, who founded the brand in 2004, grew up in Scottsdale and attended Arizona State University.
During her time at ASU, Reidel worked at both GUESS and BCBG stores located at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Opening a store at the same location brings her journey full circle.
Reidel’s husband, Jason Reidel, now serves as the company’s CEO. Together, they have led the brand through more than two decades of growth.
Over the years, Gorjana has donated more than $2 million to nonprofit organizations. These include Baby2Baby and Dress for Success, which support women and children in need.
This will be Gorjana’s second location in the area. The company opened a store at Scottsdale Quarter in fall 2019.
