Studio Ghibli has collaborated once again with Japanese fashion brand Palnart Poc to re-release a stunning collection of jewelry inspired by its beloved films. The pieces, available through Donguri Sora’s online shop, highlight characters and artifacts from Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Castle in the Sky.
Palnart Poc is known for its colorful, heartwarming designs that blend perfectly with Ghibli’s magical worlds. Each jewelry item features soft pastel colors and detailed craftsmanship, staying true to Palnart Poc’s signature style.
Among the collection, Kiki’s Delivery Service shines with two special brooches. The “Koriko Encounter” Brooch cleverly features Kiki’s radio, broomstick, and her iconic red bow. Another piece, Jiji’s “Thank You Flower Series” Brooch, shows the adorable black cat surrounded by colorful flower blossoms. Both brooches are sold separately and are priced at 7,480 yen each (approximately US$52.47).
Fans of Kiki can also find a more affordable piece in Jiji’s “Antique Key” Necklace. This design presents Jiji sitting on a silver key shaped like one of the bread wreaths from Osono’s bakery. The necklace costs 5,500 yen (around US$38.57).
The collection also includes a trio of jewelry items inspired by Princess Mononoke. These pieces have a handmade, vintage look. The highlight is a large ring modeled after the Wolf God, Moro, whose body wraps elegantly around the finger. Additionally, there are earrings featuring Yakul, Ashitaka’s loyal elk, along with one of the playful Kodama spirits. Completing the Mononoke set is a replica of the “Tama no Kogatana,” the jade knife necklace that Ashitaka gifts to San. Prices for these items range from 6,600 yen to 7,480 yen (US$46.28 to US$52.47).
Howl’s Moving Castle and Castle in the Sky are also represented in the collection. “Flying Stone Earrings” are based on Sheeta’s magical pendant from Castle in the Sky, which links her to the floating island of Laputa. “Skywalk” Brooch pays tribute to Howl and Sophie’s magical first flight above her hometown. The earrings are priced at 5,500 yen (US$38.54), while the brooch costs 7,480 yen (US$52.42).
Currently, Donguri Sora does not offer overseas shipping. However, fans outside Japan can purchase Palnart Poc jewelry through WorldShopping, a retail proxy service.
Studio Ghibli’s films, which inspire this jewelry collection, are available for streaming via Netflix or Max, depending on the region.
