Toronto, ON — A daring theft occurred last month in Rexdale, Toronto, where a bag containing over $300,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a parked vehicle, according to Toronto Police.
Police responded to a call reporting a theft and found a male victim parked at Albion Road and Highway 27.
The suspect, described as a male aged between 25 to 35 years old with a medium build, approached the parked vehicle. The thief then proceeded to smash the passenger side window, seizing a bag containing the substantial jewelry haul.
In an effort to aid their investigation, Toronto Police released a photograph of the suspect on Monday, urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in identifying him.
The suspect was seen wearing a blue “GAP” sweater, blue track pants, white running shoes, and a black baseball hat, while carrying a black/white “Adidas” bag.
Toronto Police have classified the incident as a theft over $5,000, and individuals with pertinent information are encouraged to contact the authorities to aid in their ongoing investigation.
